9×42 UNFINISHED SHAKER WALL CABINET

Builders Surplus cabinets are made with real Maple plywood, unlike particle board cabinets found in the bigger box stores. The side and back panels are 1/2″ plywood, while the adjustable shelves are 3/4″ plywood. Our cabinet drawers feature dovetail joints with metal soft-close glides. The cabinet doors have 6-way adjustable metal hinges with soft-closing capabilities.

Solid Wood: Expensive, heavy, less resistance to humidity and moisture, warping with the grain when exposed to water
Engineered Wood/MDF/Particle Board: Cheap, heavy, paintable but not stainable, highly absorbent, swells or deforms when exposed to moisture.
Plywood: Cross-grained structure making it uniformily strong, Less prone to warping when exposed to water due to cross-grain layers, cost-effective without compromising quality
