Builders Surplus cabinets are made with real Birch plywood, unlike particle board cabinets found in the bigger box stores. The side and back panels are 1/2″ plywood, while the adjustable shelves are 3/4″ plywood. The back panel is also reinforced, so the main installation points are 1″ thick for extra strength during kitchen installation and cabinet mounting. Our cabinet drawers feature are 5-piece drawer front construction and dovetail joints with metal soft-close glides. The cabinet doors have 6-way adjustable metal hinges with soft-closing capabilities. The finish on our kitchen cabinets include 7 coats with a UV-cure for longevity and durability. Builders Surplus’ kitchen cabinets meet HUD standards.
